Mr. Kurtis Plumer is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Multi-Strategies. Previous to joining the Highland Capital team in July 1999, Kurtis Plumer was a distressed High Yield Bond Trader at Lehman Brothers in New York. There he managed a $250 million portfolio invested in global distressed securities. While at Lehman, Mr. Plumer also traded emerging market sovereign bonds. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Kurtis Plumer was a Corporate Finance Banker at NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. (now Bank of America Capital Markets, Inc.) where he focused on M&A and financing transactions for the bank's clients. Mr. Plumer has over 14 years of experience in distressed, high yield bond and leveraged loan products. Mr. Plumer earned a BBA in Economics and Finance from Baylor University, and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Mr. Kurtis Plumer has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
