Appu Mundassery
Senior Porfolio Manager - Europe
Mr. Appu Mundassery is a Senior Portfolio Manager, with the European Branch of Highland Capital Management, L.P.
Mr. Appu Mundassery heads Highland Capital Management’s European business activities, based out of London. The team manages responsibility for approximately 5.5 billion euros worth in mezzanine debts, and high yield bonds and loans.
Before Mr. Mundassery took on his current position with Highland Capital, and relocated to London, he worked in the Retail and Consumer Products sector, managing non investment graded portfolios in the U.S. Mr. Mundassery joined the Highland Capital team in 2003.
Previous to his work with Highland Capital, Mr. Appu Mundassery served as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston, DLJ, and Nightingale and Associates.
Mr. Appu Mundassery graduated from Brown University, receiving his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Appu Mundassery may use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
