Dan Cipriano has earned a reputation for electrifying audiences with his energetic style combined with precise technical delivery. As one of the busiest sax players in NYC he has performed and/or recorded with an impressive array of artists and national acts including: Wilson Pickett, The Allman Brothers, Bruce Springsteen, Gary U.S. Bonds, Michael Bolton, Southside Johnny, George Thorogood, Paul Shaffer, Dicky Betts, Sam Moore, Buster Poindexter, James Cotton, Frankie Valli, Phoebe Snow, Mike Smith (Dave Clark Five), Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Mitch Ryder, Spencer Davis, The Turtles, Buddy Miles, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Dick Clark, Les Paul, Mavis Staples, Ronnie Spector, Laura Branigan, Sass Jordan, Ben E. King, Suzi Quatro, Third World, Little Anthony & the Imperials, NRBQ, The Uptown Horns, The Tokens, The Shirelles, The Chiffons, Lou Christy, Leslie Gore, Bowser, Barbara McNair, The Coasters, Pat Upton, James Montgomery, The Five Satins, Beth Hart, Howard Tate, Shirley Austin Reeves, Sir Mac Rice, The Crystals, and Clifton Davis. Dan was also the featured saxophone player the NYC cast of the smash off broadway musical "Love, Janis".

     Dan has appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Downbeat Magazine, Time Out New York, The Village Voice, The Aquarian, East Coast Rocker and Mixx Magazine. Many of Dan's performances have been broadcasted on HBO, NBC, CBS, ABC, BET, Starz, Cinemax, PBS, NPR, and Mountain Stage. He has performed live in 18 countries around the globe for hundreds of thousands of people, and has been broadcasted on TV and Radio all over the world.

     In addition to his live performance work, Dan is an accomplished studio musician with recordings on over 100 CDs to his credit. He has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, Dan is the featured sax player with Wilson Pickett in the soul and r&b documentary by "Miramax Films" called "Only The Strong Survive" directed by DA Pennebaker. He has recorded movie soundtracks for Orion Pictures  and recorded dozens of soundtracks for radio and television shows, including The Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and All My Children. Some of the jingles Dan has performed on include Wendys, The United Way, Pringles Potato Chips, Goya Beans, D&L Department Stores, and Mike Bloombergs polictical campaign . In addition to being one of the top saxophone palyers in NYC Dan's range of talents span a variety musical instruments as well as musical styles. He plays all the Saxophones, Flute, Alto Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Keyboards, Trumpet and Valve Trombone. Dan is highly skilled in performing in styles ranging from r&b, rock and jazz, to classical.
