We publish non-fiction titles about California and the American southwest. Our authors include Galen Rowell, Ansel Adams and Peter Croft.
Favorite Dog Hikes In and Around Los Angeles has since been featured on television and radio, and in the Los Angeles Daily News article “Ruffin’ It” (Outdoor Section 1996), the Los Angeles Times Travel Section and was noted BEST of LA in the category of best LA dog hiking book by Los Angeles Magazine.
In 1998, Spotted Dog Press was incorporated. Titles include: Born Free and Equal by Ansel Adams; High & Wild by Galen Rowell; Close Ups of the High Sierra by Norman Clyde; Climbing Mt.
