Super Plump Woman to Exercise Right to Walk
Walk across , and raise money for homeless shelters. Could it work? Could it work when you are over 450 pounds? Marsha endeavors to find out if she has what it takes to fulfill her dream.
Her walk group given the name "fat girl walking" by one of her friends will leave from Crissy Field in San Francisco on Valentines Day. She would like to invite any respectful person to join her as she walks across the golden gate kick off this country wide walk.
Our Fat Girl Walking group is collecting donations for various homeless shelters. The shelter we are working to support in California is named The Haven of Peace and is in French Camp, just north of Marsha's home town of Manteca. Marsha chose this particular shelter for personal reasons.
This walk is NOT about weight loss. If there is any it is a side effect and beyond the point.
This walk is about fulfilling the dreams of a capable woman who dares to aspire to something higher then the stereotypical ideal of her body type. Walk across , and raise money for homeless shelters?
