http://www.Pain-Topics.org –– is a noncommercial, open-access resource for healthcare professionals. It provides evidence-based clinical news, information, research, and education on the causes and treatment of pain; including acute, chronic, and terminal pain conditions.
In many ways, Pain-Topics.org acts as a clearinghouse by gathering and logically organizing all the essentials of clinical pain management at one website and allowing visitors to make the most of their time on the Internet. Listings of relevant events in the field, related websites, CME course offerings, and clinical guidelines are the most comprehensive available anywhere. Original articles provide research summaries and practice perspectives. A special section examines the interface of pain and addiction.
Pain Treatment Topics is modeled after our other successful project, which was started in 1992 –– Addiction Treatment Forum (
www.ATForum.com). Launched in January 2006, Pain-Topics.org is growing rapidly and visitors can register for ‘e-Notifications’ of when the site is updated or new offerings are added.
