Alex King, independent filmmaker and owner of A.K. Film Production and Editing has been awarded a Gold Remi at the 44th Houston Worldfest (www.worldfest.org) for his documentary about Romanian Adoptions. Alex King, adopted from Romania when he was almost six years old, was honored for his documentary "Born To Be Our Children, Romanian Adoption Stories." Saturday April 16th Alex received the Gold Remi in the Feature Documentary category of Film and Video Productions. - April 22, 2011
