Inspired by the sad events of 2006 which included the tragic death of James Kim and the climbers on Mt. Hood, RescueWiki has set out to become a universal resource for search and rescue professionals and people heading in the great outdoors. Using a Wiki-based website very similar to Wikipedia, professionals will be able to build a comprehensive source of information on the latest techniques and tools.
