CAMI Research introduces a new, patented computer-assisted technique for assembling circular connectors used in aerospace and other high-reliability applications. - August 05, 2008
New software released for CAMI Research’s CableEye Cable and Wire Harness Tester permits production engineers to utilize synthetic speech and voice recognition for hands-free operation. Voice recognition permits the operator to issue commands to the tester without pushing buttons or keyboard keys. Synthetic speech may be employed during production to read pin numbers or provide assembly instructions. - May 15, 2008
CAMI Research's CableEye Cable and Wire Harness Tester ships with optional library module which enables you to control the CableEye fixture from an external Visual Basic or "C++" program, and helps engineers integrate the tester with other equipment in automated applications. - March 20, 2008
The CableEye cable tester and wire harness tester now includes a Spanish-language text option that translates screen labels and dialog boxes for Spanish-speaking operators. Built-in scripting automates testing to further simplify production use. - December 06, 2007
CAMI Research's enhanced AutoBuild software provides guided assembly with speech for cable and wire harness manufacturing. During construction, the technician touches an unterminated wire using a probe, or finger with a wriststrap, and the software reads the intended connection point using high-quality synthetic speech. Also shown is a connector graphic with the target pin highlighted. - August 17, 2007
A major software upgrade has been released by CAMI Research for the CableEye cable and wire harness tester. Find defective, miswired, and intermittent cables instantly, before they damage your equipment or fail at your customer's site. - March 22, 2007
