This new book is based on actual events that involve Joe discovering and adopting a street dog that had been living on the central Florida streets for at least two years. Shea, the runaway, was an escape artist who repeatedly escaped from his yard only to be repeatedly caught by Animal Control officers, myself, or by his neighbors on numerous occasions, until one day, after another escape, she returned home and never left again. - August 03, 2014
