1. B2B and Personal Concierge- includes services for individuals and families including Personal Assistants and Errands. We also assist Corporate employers as well as employees and consists of almost any service imaginable (within reason). For an example, a corporate worker that’s new to the area and needs furniture, corporate dress clothes, shoes, information on local dance clubs, as well as areas that are safest verses a possible high crime area, a cyber café, phone service, cable provider, internet service provider and so on… we provide new to the area service links on the web as well as hard copy literature. We book local events and work with the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Huntsville to secure accurate and up to date information and schedules.
2. Corporate Quarters Decorating/Furnishing – includes service for home/office furniture purchase, set-up, and decorating to customer specifications. This service is also extended to military. Our company plans to be the leader in this arena as we plan to seek Government Procurement within 2 years to work as contractors for military housing units. We currently do not meet criteria for obtaining this type of procurement due to a one year ‘in business-yield of $100k’ requirement. We are definitely cornering the market in Huntsville for Redstone Arsenal as we will be the first company to have experience in this area.
3. Condo Concierge- includes service similar to corporate concierge except for a few proprietary services such as our “Red Carpet Meet and Greet” where we pick up condo members at their door and escort them to their Limo or Hum-V for a night on the town or to take them to a day spa, whatever the occasion calls for. We also have our King for a Day and Queen for a Day, as well as our Airport- Red Carpet Meet and Greet. We are looking into adding an escort service for corporate conventions and the like. Looking into legalities of this type of service yet this
4. Residential Concierge- This service allows persons new to the area to contact us and receive a discount on our services for furnishing their home, gathering required documents for transferring or beginning new utility services, researching the best schools in the area if they have children, grocery, and household needs, and so on. This service is being asked for by military personnel on a daily basis at Redstone Arsenal. All I can say is, soon!
5. Martini Parties - Martini Party in a jiffy may sound cheesy, but having the ability to throw one together on short notice is key to making sure all Martini Parties go very well in this industry. The best method to date for ensuring these parties go well is prudent planning. To have on hand glow in the dark martini glasses as well as other details that make martini parties memorable. Disclosures as well as a contract all attendees must sign stating they understand that motors and martinis do not mix! Designated drivers are also designated prior to scheduling this type of party. I first observed this in European persons, where contracts were signed to deter drinking and driving. 10. Grocery / Convenience Store / Household Needs Errands- This service runs 24 hours a day/seven days a week. Staff members will rotate this shift for being on call. An ‘As Needed’ staff member will be on call for this service weekly. This staff member will be staffed as PRN.
11. Red Carpet Airport Meet and Greet – This service might possibly be the most popular according to the results of surveys conducted. Meet and Greet consists of us Meeting Specified Persons at the Airport via the Hotel Van (where they will stay) dressed in Tuxedo, equipped with a red carpet for the guest to walk onto, while entering the Hotel Van. This service will be upgraded to a luxury vehicle once business stabilizes. Working with local hotels as well as Enterprise Car Rental for the purchase of a luxury vehicle for this purpose. Also looking at having (in the future) rental car booking completed for the client where all they would be required to do is sign their name on the contract, after having shown proper I.D. Red Carpet Service would still apply as they would receive VIP Red Carpet Treatment.
12. Hotel Concierge – This service includes finding those hard to find items after hours as we have access to Wal-Mart 24 hours. Working with Wal-Mart on pre-ordering items for our service to ensure timely delivery from time of order being placed, till it actually arrives at their door.
13. Food Pickup and Delivery (Including Fast Food) - This includes all 24 hour restaurants in the area. This addition will come once other areas of business are stable enough to endure adding this feature. Licenses required are also being researched. Two licenses I already have are said to be sufficient enough for this addition.
14. Last Minute Gifts (1-8hr delivery) – Gift finding service for quick short notice delivery (Madison County)
15. Advance Notice Gifts – Gift finding service, specific or ‘Mystery Gift’. Different gift costs available. Client can choose large, medium, or small packages. Gift wrap is available for an additional fee. Free if Diamond Membership holder.
16. Finder/Deliverer of luxury items – This service includes the finding of luxury items, card finding service, wrapping, and gift certificate /visa gift card as a complete luxury items Box. Luxury Mystery Box is also available.
17. Finder of hard to find items – research and locate hard to find items such as rare books, periodicals, small collector items and much more by attending auctions, and searching eBay, as well as other resources. Once item is located, finders fee as well as cost of rarity is quoted to client. Once business is more stable and known for our quick finding of rarities, we plan to offer the same for antiques.
18. Personal Assistant for Hire - This service offers a personal assistant to help with short-term projects and deadlines. This service charges the client by the hour. Any errands and/or other services required during this project period are charged separately, yet at a discounted rate if client has chosen to work with Concierge at Providence exclusively, during this project period, from beginning to end. Also, research has revealed that these types of requests usually come when a person has been let down by a company who could not deliver, that’s where we come in, we will pick up the ball and run with it. This is my primary goal, to be there, ready and available, when others are not. This is how the 24hour service comes into play. Right after someone’s computer crashed, they’ll call us for immediate research assistance.
19. Virtual Assistant for Hire - This service offers the assistance of an assistant via virtual means. An example would be that the person working on the project may require research on a certain topic, demographics, or telephone service areas. They would call us and request a quote for a virtual assistant. They will then have (depending upon the length and complexity of the project) the option of paying the virtual assistant by the hour, or to choose a service package. In some instances, a package may be more affordable. In the future, we plan to have virtual secretarial services with a ‘Find Me’ service that the corporate worker may be in the field yet have a virtual secretary to notify them of important meetings by utilizing a virtual auto dialing service to dial all numbers on the contact list for that person until they are located. Nextel is working on this technology. Then the secretary may convey messages in a way only a person could. Such as, telling the disposition of the person which might have just left a message for that person. If they were angry, an automated voice to email notifier will not replay the message, yet will read what words were said in message. Then the worker would never really understand the urgency of the call back. Furthermore, I see in the future of this business much growth as I also have a background in the medical field. With the new hospital coming to Madison, Alabama, dictation, and transcription services will also be needed, even by virtual means. Machines misunderstand words all the time. Yet a person is better, be they across the room, or across the city, a human ear is better than a machine with transcription and dictation. This is another direction I see his business heading into.
20. NASA Tours – This is a service I have access to due to me being a NASA Ambassador via the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. This tour will allow attendees to partake in a tour of the Marshall Space and Flight Center. This will be approved by NASA ahead of time. These tours must be scheduled in advance.
21. Providence King for a Day® and/or Providence Queen for a Day® – This is the VIP of VIP’s outing. It includes a Day Spa Package, Special Presidential Suite (Requires pre-booking on behalf of our company) Must pre-purchase select nights, then post schedule of availability at website. Includes Red Carpet Meet and Greet, Limousine Pick-up/Drop Off, dinner, theatre, presidential suite, room service breakfast in bed, and theme of their choice (currently only Egyptian and Medieval available).
22. Rocket City Big Girls' Day Out® / Rocket City Big Boys' Day Out® (Formerly Providence Big Kids Day Out) – Consists of red carpet limousine service for pick up and drop off, a free NASA Blue Suit (Space Flight Suit), NASA Ball Cap, a ticket to the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center, a discount coupon for $20.00 off of any Space Camp the child chooses, and an Imax movie with a coupon for a free bag of popcorn and a free soda. Child is required to have mature or adult chaperon approved by their parents ahead of time. Offer only available to mature children 7-17 years of age.
23. Red Carpet Pick-up Only- One way, VIP, service
24. Red Carpet Airport Meet and Greet – This is same as above Red Carpet Meet and Greet. The only addition is a person awaiting the VIP’s arrival with a luggage cart ready, cold mineral, and bottled water on ice (In a silver wine bucket) on a caddy, and their choice of a variety of biscotti and other gourmet snacks. Fruit will also be available as this is all inclusive. In the future, this will be upgraded to a limousine and drinks will be served in a limo equipped with a television as well as wireless internet access. This is at least 3 years or so in the future.
25. Red Carpet Preferred – This is the highest membership level and is pre-paid annually for regular VIP Service at the airport, for running errands, being taken to dinner, as well as to work if preferred.
26. Also includes Personal Concierge – Consists of research, gift finding service, and any combination of the above services.
27. Travel Planning Concierge – This is a service that will only be provided to our busy, busy executives as research has shown many services such as this one falling under travel agencies. If it comes into great demand, we may explore partnering with travel agencies locally for after hours service they may not have previously had. This requires use and knowledge of the SABRE Travel Network System. I can hire personnel for this if it comes into demand in our area.
28. Events Concierge – This in an area that will remain relatively small as we only plan to immediately book for local events such as dinner theaters at the Renaissance Theater here in Huntsville.
29. Credit Counseling is on the way that college students at UAH and A&M may learn to be more financially responsible by using debit cards (with Visa/MasterCard Symbol) where they can earn credit as if it were a credit card by paying up their accounts on time, and referring other students who may need credit repair. This way, their credit isn’t already ruined by credit cards when they graduate. I aim to begin a credit counseling / credit education program to benefit our community, and the students turning out of these universities. A program of this nature can only benefit the students, consumers, and retailers alike -in the long-run. This is a future plan also. As this credit system will include discounts off our services. For the first three months, credit earned is only good for our services. The following three months, their credit is as good as cash and can be used virtually anywhere merchants accept debit cards via PIN access. This service and capability has already been researched and I am in regular contact with he financial institutions also.
