Throughout GCI's North American network, senior level media specialists are available to conduct media skills training workshops to prepare clients for media appearances. Half-day sessions are staged in studio settings designed to facilitate message development strategies, insights into the "mind of a reporter," and highlight the differences among various types of media. Mock interviews based on a range of scenarios provide a forum for addressing the effective use of verbal and non-verbal communication, tips for avoiding the most common interview mistakes, how to manage an aggressive or unfair interviewer and how to take control of an interview to ensure delivery of key messages.
