Well-established Aerospace Engineering Company requires a CNC Machinist (CNC Miller) to manufacture of aircraft components to precision limits.
Specific duties: Manufacturing bushes, sleeves and nuts for Aircraft components. Also reworking and overhauling components for the airline industry.
General job Description: - Working on three and four axis CNC machines with Heidenhain controls. - Significant experience of CNC programming preferable on Heidenhain controls. - To be able to read and understand technical drawings. - To be able to work with imperial measuring equipment. Qualification Requirements: - City and Guilds Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent is essential. - Trained in machine shop technology and working practices. - Have a range of experience working with CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls is essential. - Aerospace background not essential but would be preferred.
Hours, Salary:
