PR.com)-- Expression! magazine made its debut in Hawaii August 2008 with the intent of promoting a positive and quality resource for the State’s Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender community. Expression! is locally owned and operated formed by a group of professionals with the vision of propelling its community forward.
“It’s time Hawaii has a resource that connects its Gay and Lesbian community in a positive manner with its ‘heterosexual counterparts’ and we hope to do this by representing our community with professionalism and integrity”, stated Jade Le - President and Founder.
The magazine features cutting edge designs and photography produced in-house with quality gloss pages to represent the community with a new-edge and sophistication. Readers have numerously described the magazine as, “refreshing.”
“We are working on connecting our communities together by desensitizing the ‘shock factor’. One way to do this is to show Hawaii that Gays and Lesbians are normal people and good people contributing positively whether the magnitude may be small or large. We are trying to decrease the level of negativity that is associated with the community’s lifestyle.”
