PR.com)-- First annual Strut for the Cure in Milwaukee.
The American Cancer Society’s first annual Strut for the Cure will be held at the Intercontinental in Milwaukee on Friday February 20, 2009. The fundraising event will feature food from trendy local restaurants, fashion from area shops and music.
Cancer survivors will be among the models showing off new spring fashions from area boutiques like Goldie’s, Detour and Ess Elle Style Studio. Selected items from the fashion show will be modeled by cancer survivors and auctioned at the event.
Proceeds from the event and auction are used to fund ACS mission of eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
