PR.com)-- The Shades of Green series, an educational program to air on commercial networks nationwide, is the first show actually dedicated to wind power. Their goal is simple: promote wind power through visual and documentary education.
Eric Carsigan, a producer at National Broadcast Group, said, “We are a pioneer production company creating a series about pioneers. Ten years ago, people balked at wind as being a source of energy. Now as the industry is taking off in and outside of our country, people are starting to believe in it.”
In 2007, it was reported that 20% of Denmark’s source of energy was comprised of wind power. NBG believes that if they can do it, so can America.
Producer Eric Carsigan explains, “The problem many organizations are facing is a misinformed population. If you google wind power, you will find articles on how wind power can cause seizures and cancer, among many other ridiculous claims.”
NBG strives to give an honest approach to renewable energies, and hopes to attack some of the misconceptions surrounding alternative solutions.
