Austin, TX, October 02, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- The West Campus Girls are college students or recent graduates who create partnerships with businesses, Greek life, and student organizations in the Austin community to build awareness and effectuate change.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be featured in Study Breaks,” said Megan Pena, member of the West Campus Girls. “It’s an exciting opportunity to spread the word about our program in the UT Austin community.”
The Life Savers Program allows organizations to donate 20% of the revenue generated through real estate directly to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or another charity of their choice. An online portal for organizations allows them representatives to set fundraising goals, track their progress, and reach out to encourage fellow members to become Life Savers.
“It’s a simple way to build enthusiasm for philanthropy among the UT community,” says program creator and West Campus Living president Gus Rojo. “And there’s no limit to the amount that each organization can earn for their favorite charitable cause.”
