Why did he? He dreamt of being an author for quite some time, and he chased that dream, and made it a goal in life, and because of that, he acheived his goal, you can too if you put your mind to it.
Why is it an interesting piece to the relating market? He may be a teen, but he can write, and had friends to help with motivation through the project, he's a great example for anyone else, young or old, that always wanted to be an author.
