First DNA Testing Lab to Promise Fast Results with a Money-back Guarantee

Houston, TX, May 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- With the demand for paternity testing on the rise, more than one million people each year will now be able to benefit from a new guarantee that promises fast, accurate paternity test results with a money-back guarantee. IDENTIGENE, an industry leader in DNA identification testing, announced today the launch of a new service guarantee that promises clients will receive their paternity test results in three days, or the test is free. IDENTIGENE is the first and only DNA testing lab to offer clients a money-back guarantee on the speed of their paternity tests.

Most DNA testing labs provide test results in approximately five to seven business days, but there is no guarantee that their clients will receive their test results in the quoted timeframe. Under the terms of this new offer, however, IDENTIGENE guarantees clients will receive their paternity test results in three business days, or the cost of the test will be completely refunded. All direct-to-consumer paternity tests qualify for the guarantee, with the exception of prenatal paternity tests or those using other non-standard DNA samples, such as hair or bone.

The three-day test process begins when all samples, completed authorization forms and full payment are received at IDENTIGENE’s DNA testing lab in Houston. All items must be received before noon Central Standard Time (CST), Monday through Friday, to begin the testing process.

Once testing begins, IDENTIGENE will send clients automatic e-mail updates to keep them informed of the status of their case.

“It’s important for our clients to know and understand what is going on while their test is in the lab,” said Caskey. “By providing our clients with these automatic updates, we hope to lessen the stress of their situation and continue to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service possible.”

When the final paternity test results are complete, IDENTIGENE’s Case Managers call their clients and provide them with verbal results over the phone. The Case Manager will call them before 12 p.m. CST on or before the third day of testing. If the client is not available by phone when IDENTIGENE calls, IDENTIGENE will leave a voice mail requesting the client return their phone call, so the results can be delivered.
