HarborPlace at Port St Lucie Hosts Ed Burchfield and Charlie Neeld’s Remote Radio Broadcast
Port St Lucie, FL, November 18, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- Several HarborPlace Independent Living residents spoke about the radio broadcast and breakfast event:
Rita commented, “Deb Thompson [Event and Food and Beverage Manager] and I talked a bit about HarborPlace on the radio.”
Dottie exclaimed, “I was amazed and pleased that they [Ed Burchfield and Charlie Neeld] remembered me from when I was interviewed by them at the radio station before! I told them, ‘I’m still up and around dancing and waiting for you to come to Happy Hour.’ I’ve been here three years and I love it here – I wouldn’t be any place else.” She added, “I didn’t get to say much because they started talking to the racecar guy Billy G.” (HarborPlace resident Billy G was not available for comment at the time of this report.)
“I saw at least ten of the St Lucie County Fire and Rescue team and Volunteer Ambulance crew enjoying the big buffet – all handsome boys and so kind to older people,” said Helen. “There were lots of people from our side and the Assisted Living side as well as from Life Care [Skilled Nursing and Rehab]. I also saw a lot of people I didn’t know, so they must have been from the community.” (Realtors, Home Health Care Agencies, Medical Offices, Emergency Services, Support Groups, as well as the general public, were invited.)
Irv said, “I came late, so the radio show was almost over, but it was a terrific breakfast.”
David added, “They [Ed and Charlie] seemed to be very interested in taking pictures of the place. Maybe they’re doing a video.”
