Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada President Peter Jacobs to Discuss Critical Issues Facing Motorcycling Community in Canada

Soon after its inception, the MCC scored a considerable coup by persuading Toronto City Council to pass a bylaw exempting motorcyclists from paying parking meter fees in the City of Toronto.
Motorcyclists in Ontario now face one of the most controversial issues in recent years, posed by Private Members Bill 117. MCC has mobilized against the bill put forth by Ontario MPP Dr. Helena Jaczek.
If passed, Bill 117 would make it illegal for motorcyclists in Ontario to carry a passenger under the age of 14. A decision in this case could also have a significant impact on motorcyclists in other parts of the country.
In collaboration with the British Columbia Safety Council, the MCC is helping to create a plan that addresses uniquely Canadian motorcycle safety issues. This is being accomplished through the RPM National Motorcycle Symposium.
The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada has been an active voice for motorcyclists across Canada since 2004. It represents recreational and competitive riders, sport media, promoters, and the retail and distribution industry.
