Animal Radio® Adds Sunday XM Timeslot - America's Talk XM 158 Locks in Animal Radio® 5-7pm

Los Angeles, CA, January 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nationally syndicated Animal Radio® kicks-off its eighth year by adding a Sunday evening broadcast to XM Satellite Radio channel 158 (America's Talk). The weekly two-hour program continues to air on XM Saturdays at noon eastern; and starting January 18th - can be heard Sundays at 5pm eastern.

"Adding this later Sunday broadcast will be great for our left-coast listeners. Up to now, they've had to set their alarm clock to listen on satellite," says Animal Radio® Executive Producer Judy Francis. She adds, "The show is extremely listener-interactive. This new timeslot is better for everyone."

Since 2003, Animal Radio® has been America's 'most-listened-to' pet-talk according to Arbitron. The magazine-style show is hosted by Los Angeles morning-radio veteran Hal Abrams, Judy Francis and a dream-team of air-talent. "It's like a morning show for pet-lovers," says Abrams. Animal Radio's celebrity presence and expert advice includes the likes of Glenn Close, Cesar Millan and Jenna Fisher.

In addition to XM Satellite Radio, Animal Radio® also airs on 90+ AM/FM terrestrial radio stations, including KOST 103.5 Los Angeles.

"Animal Radio® continues to grow despite the economy. I think that says something about our relationship with our furry-family," says Animal Radio® GM Bob Roth. "While most radio operations are scaling back - pet related advertising is still strong. More terrestrial stations are taking Animal Radio® because they see the income potential."
