Along with federal tax incentives, Tennessee businesses are eligible for added benefits from the state’s Clean Energy Technology (TN-CET) grant, which can reduce the upfront cost of a renewable energy system by as much as 40 percent. Where available, businesses may also join the TVA Generation Partners program, and receive 15 cents -- or even 20 cents for demand meter customers -- for every kilowatt hour of green power their systems produce.
