Rockin' Moms Song Contest Open for Submissions
Do you have a song you wrote about your mom, being a mom, parenting, love for a child, a motherhood theme etc? Enter your song in the Rockin' Moms Song Contest 2009 and you could win $1000.00 cash, a Daisy Rock Guitar and more great prizes.
San Jose, CA, March 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rockin' Moms, founded in 2004 by Singer-Songwriter and mom of four, Tiffany Petrossi, is a company and online community website that promotes, provides resources and acknowledges the work of mothers. All moms are Rockin'. This year, they are excited to host a songwriting contest accepting songs that reflect a motherhood theme. Songs about being a mom, your mom, what a mother means to you, the job of parenting, love for a child etc.
They will be awarding the 1st place winner $1,000 in cash, a Daisy Rock Guitar, 1000 CD artist promo package from Crystal Clear, products from D'Addario, Planet Waves, Indie Venue Bible, Indiegrrl, Kilroy-Media, Nette Radio CD preview and Rockin' Moms. 2nd and 3rd place cash and merchandise prizes, 10 honorable mentions and a coupon code for one month's free Platinum Membership on RockinMoms.com. Entrants will get a one-month's Platinum membership and my store feature with their submission.
The winners and their songs will also be showcased on the Rockin' Moms website, e-Zine, newsletter and songs and lyrics featured on the Rockin' Moms Podcast Radio show.
This contest is open to both professional and amateur songwriters. Entrants may enter as many songs as they wish but each entry must have a lyric sheet. The only requirement is that the song reflects a theme of motherhood to the songwriter and the song must be original. No, you don't have to be a member of Rockin' Moms, a mom, a women, dad to submit, or even use the word "mom" in the song, just express the theme in your song.
Winners will be chosen by a panel of Music Industry professionals and Rockin' Moms staff who will judge entries on originality, melody, composition and lyrics.
