Bolt passed the rigorous national standards test administered by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (nabcep.org) and is now a certified NABCEP Solar PV installer.
The demanding four hour certification test is the last step in a series of prequalification tests that include knowledge of building codes, environmental engineering specifications, products, services, grants, safety requirements, and reducing energy loads.
Bolt is a recognized expert in converting energy consuming facilities to energy-neutral and/or energy producing facilities. He regularly consults with individuals, schools, churches, and businesses on energy reduction, efficient appliances, insulation, new roofing, bathroom renovations, wood stove installations, solar hot water systems, and solar electric (photovoltaic) systems.
