Lost Wages: Can a Christmas Miracle Happen in Sin City?

A newly released tale by author James Alexander details a string of unfortunate events during a middle class family's holiday season.

Las Vegas, NV, May 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "Lost Wages: A Las Vegas Christmas Tale" is a novel that follows four members of the Griggs family through a series of misadventures during troubling economic times. Author James Alexander draws upon his experiences growing up in Las Vegas to present a humorous work of fiction revealing realities of life in Southern Nevada while delivering a clever story gift wrapped in a strong dose of "feel good".

This is Alexander's first novel and according to him it is a timely release. "Las Vegas is in a funk. We are all searching for a sliver of hope that better times are on the horizon. Perhaps "Lost Wages" will inspire its readers to have faith that we're going to be okay."

The author will be promoting his work at a book signing June 13th, 2009 at the Paseo Verde Library, 280 South Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89012 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
