Platinum Broadcasting Company to Produce Series on Business Opportunities for Hispanics on the "Mundo Latino" Show
Deerfield Beach, FL, August 11, 2006 --(
PR.com)-- The producers and directors of Platinum Broadcasting Company's show "Mundo Latino" are proud to announce a special five-part series on Business Opportunities for Hispanics.
The special segments will focus on the growing trends in franchising; what businesses are hot, especially with the Hispanic market; as well as chances to run concessions or to become distributors for those wanting to take charge of their own businesses.
With the current trend towards downsizing in large corporations, members of the workforce are considering their options. In light of today’s volatile business climate, becoming a successful entrepreneur is a more logical, much more viable option than ever before. But how does a prospective franchisee get started?
Mundo Latino will shed light on the subject by providing insight from an educational standpoint throughout this innovative series. Segments will include…
Advice on choosing the right franchise
Franchise fees and capital requirements
Advice on franchise financing
Franchisor/franchisee relationships
Non-compete clauses and other important legal issues
The latest news on the newest trends in franchising
These are just a few of the topics that will be featured in this special informative series. Mundo Latino will feature select franchises and their owners and operators who will discuss their experience in the industry.
Approximately 1 out of 8 people in the U.S. is of Hispanic origin, either from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Central or South America or elsewhere. Most tend to live in large metropolitan areas, have attained less education than comparable non-Hispanics, and have larger families. Unemployment is more common as well, and those who are working tend to earn less than non-Hispanics in similar positions.
On the other hand, the number of franchise opportunities in North America grows every day. This can be very overwhelming to potential purchasers. It is the goal of the producers and directors of Mundo Latino to produce a series that is educational and informative, to help guide first-time franchisees through the process, as well as to provide some insight to veteran franchise owners.
The series will begin airing in late 2006.
