Gridley Medical Building is Complete

In tough economic climates, medical practices can still thrive. The development of team of Dennis J Lynch PA and Sunderland Associates has completed the Gridley Medical Building in Naples, Florida. Its success will grow though a concept of "tenant as a partner ownership." This commercial development was modeled after a successful ownership arrangement of another building built in 2000, called the Brennan Medical Building.

Gridley Medical Building is Complete
Naples, FL, June 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sunderland Associates LLC announces the completion of the Gridley Medical Building. It is erected on the 12250 South Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34113 across from the main entrance to the Lely Golf Resort and Country Club.

The building is named after John and Melissa Gridley, who were physicians in Naples some years ago.

A group of physicians saw the need to open offices for their respective practices outside the city of Naples. After looking and examining various area demographics for more than a year, the group chose to go to the South Tamiami Trail. They felt that the growing area between Marco Island and South Naples is currently under served.

Therefore, they decided to build a medical building and name it after two good friends, who shared their passion for helping people through the practice of medicine.

A Limited Liability Corporation was formed. A development team under Dennis J. Lynch, P.A. was assembled and after a year and a half of coordination with governmental agencies, the construction began. The contractor DeAngelis Diamond, Inc. completed the building ahead of schedule on June 24, 2009.

Four practices, whose physicians will be part of the ownership group, have already signed leases to be in the 34,000 square foot, three story building. Those who have already signed their leases are Collier Neurologic Specialists, Kevin Lam, DPM, Florida Pain Center and the Douglas Orthopedic and Spine Rehabilitation Center. Negotiations are continuing with an MRI center. The construction of the interior of their spaces will now commence.

A hallmark of the investment concept is the fusion of physician owners with non-physician owners. The physician owners have come to realize that being tenants and part owners of a large medical building offers more rewards than simply owning their own small individual building or condominium unit.
