PR.com)-- Bentec Medical Inc., a manufacturer of silicone medical products, announced implementation of new production processes and the acquisition of the Sodick Horizontal Insert LSR electronically controlled molding machine. The Sodick machine provides superior precision through closed loop injection controls, enables greater flexibility in part configuration, and improved production yields.
“Our process and equipment enhancement significantly increase our flexibility and capability for micro molded silicone components for our OEM customers,” says Alan Ladouceur, Plant Manager for Bentec product manufacturing. “We expect our yields to improve because the Sodick can control within 1/10th of a gram the amount of silicone that is used to manufacture a part.”
