First Atlantic Commerce Wins Team Spirit Award While Raising Money for Charity

FAC employees and friends participate in Catlin EndtoEnd, a Bermuda fund raising event.

Hamilton, Bermuda, August 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Employees of First Atlantic Commerce (FAC), a Bermudabased, online multicurrency payment and risk management solutions provider, this week won the Team Spirit Award after participating in the annual Catlin EndtoEnd charity fund raising event held on May 2009.

A FAC team of ten biked across the island to raise money for the Bermuda EndtoEnd Charitable Trust. Clad in Superhero costumes in an effort to collect more pledges (the brainchild of VP of International Business Development, Christopher Burns), the team raised a total of $9120, matched in part by First Atlantic Commerce.

The End-to-End event was supported by numerous local sponsors and more than 2500 individual participants, who walked, ran or biked the 24.1 mile course. Funds raised were allocated to 11 local registered charities across the island.

The award presentations were made at the offices of Mello, Jones & Martin, a Bermuda law firm. Mr. Burns accepted the Team Spirit Award trophy on behalf of FAC.
