World’s Largest Medical Tourism Conference Announces Pre-Conference Workshop on Marketing to Health Insurance Agents.

Health Insurance Agents, sometimes referred to as brokers or consultants, are the gatekeepers to US employers. They are the liaison between the insurance companies and employers and are the ones who negotiate for health insurance on behalf of US employers directly with the insurance companies. Health Insurance Agents are the key to the implementation of medical tourism as they will be the ones who offer and explain it to both the employers and employees. If the health insurance agent is not aware of and has no knowledge of medical tourism or has not accepted the concept of medical tourism than there is very little success for employees utilizing medical tourism and becoming a patient in a foreign hospital. This workshop will explain what health insurance agents are, how they operate their business and how to market to, approaches and explain medical tourism to health insurance agents. This workshop will give you the insight and education you need to successfully market to health insurance agents and implement medical tourism with US employers.

The pre-conference workshop is Monday, October 26th, 2009 at 8:00am- 5:00pm, with a break at 12:00-1:00pm for the networking lunch. The Exhibit hall opens conveniently at 5:00pm.
