Sommer Simmons is a respected ambassador of motorcycling through her work as an author, journalist, and co-founder of Harley Women magazine. A long-time rider, she was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2003.
The American Motorcycle Girls: 1900 – 1950 is a photographic history of early women motorcyclists. It’s a treasure trove of 350 illustrations that Sommer Simmons uncovered and researched over hundreds of hours.
