PR.com)-- Shevon Hercules, a first-time homebuyer from Brooklyn, purchased a home in Rahway by participating in the Union County HOME Program. She received grant assistance towards this purchase in the amount of $25,000. Ms. Hercules was able to add to this grant amount and secure a below market mortgage with the help of Jennifer Laterra of Team Campanaro at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Ms. Laterra is a first-time homebuyer specialist and is one of the preferred lenders of the Union County program.
The Union County Home program is administered by Faith, Bricks and Mortar of Plainfield. Ms. Hercules worked extensively with Denise Broesler of RE/MAX Classic Group, Berkeley Heights to find her home and at the same, worked with Ms. Laterra to complete the necessary paperwork for the program. At the same time, her attorney’s office of Perrotta, Fraser & Forrester of Valley Road in Clark handled the task of monitoring the county and town requirements.
