Knoxville, TN, August 17, 2009 --(
PR.com)-- Audrey Lee has joined Sustainable Future as architect for commercial and residential projects. Lee is a LEED-certified architect (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), a designation of achievement issued by the U.S. Green Building Council upon completion of a national standardization test. The LEED certification indicates that Lee has mastered the key elements for green building metrics—energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources.
Before joining Sustainable Future, Lee was project architect at Studio Four Design, Inc., working on commercial buildings. Lee began her career as a project architect for Upland Design Group, Inc. in Crossville, Tennessee. In addition to her certification as a LEED AP, Lee is also NCARB—the National Council of Architectural Registration Board certified, a licensed Architect, a member in good standing of AIA—the American Institute of Architects and the local chapter of the US Green Building Council.
A graduate of The University of Tennessee, Lee holds a Bachelor of Architecture, has taken a photovoltaic design and installation course at SEI where she obtained a NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge. Lee is also pursuing full NABCEP certification.
Audrey has lived in the historic Fourth and Gill neighborhood of Knoxville since 1999, is a member of the local women’s cycling club, KnoxRevolution and a member of the Advisory Committee for the InterFaith Health Clinic in Knoxville.
