According to Ian McLoughlin, coordinator of Pepper's digital music marketing, "we've seen a general increase in sales of many Michael Jackson songs over the past few months, but as we get closer to Halloween, Thriller seems to be generating even more interest."
McLoughlin further notes while Halloween isn't as big a music draw as the Christmas holiday, "Tunes like Ghostbusters, the Munsters Theme and Werewolves of London always see a spike in sales as musicians enjoy having fun with creepy themes." This year, it looks like Thriller is the tune keeping people in the impish Halloween spirit.
