“I worked on consultancy projects to help realign people in organisations,” he said. “For example, I worked with the senior teams in Uganda Telecom, Sabafon in Yemen, MTN in Ivory Coast, and the preparation of 50,000 employees of Turk Telekom for privatisation.”
Closer to home, he developed and coached leaders in the transport and finance sectors. Previous to this, Tom had spent over 15 years working with British Telecom running a range of innovative and successful leadership development and change programmes.
However, despite the flexibility of being a consultant and working face-to-face with organisational leaders, Tom still felt he needed a change.
“Overall, I was disappointed with the speed of change in the corporate world and conversely, ActionCOACH was an opportunity to see a better return on my personal investment to assist businesses,” he said.
