PR.com)-- Comedienne Gina Scarda opens this great night of comedy.
After retiring from the NYPD, Gina Scarda announced that she was going to be a standup comedian. Her Very Italian family thought she was insane. They attributed this fanatical change of careers to her midlife crisis. They considered the time she used jarred "gravy" on her ziti as part of the same crisis. The humorist is married 21 years (to the same man) and is the mom of 2 teenagers. Since her retirement, the funny lady performs every chance she gets. She has been making audiences laugh with her stories of "The Job", marriage, and the many joys of being Italian. She is currently touring with the Italian Chicks and a member of the See Saw Comedy Troupe. Gina has opened for comedy greats like Adam Ferrara and Dave Attell. Gina was featured on Discovery Health channel’s Fit Family in April 2006 and Bravo’s Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style in November 2007. And since her retirement, has appeared in 3 feature films.
