PR.com)-- CLIX™, a rapidly growing franchisor of studio and event portrait photography and photo imaging and design services based in Atlanta, recently appointed Kevin Lovejoy as vice president of business development. The move represents the first step in an aggressive national franchise launch for CLIX.
The CLIX franchise model was established in 1999 to provide three distinct revenue streams for potential franchisees – a retail-based portrait studio; a protected territory for on-site special event photography; and on-site, do-it-yourself photo imaging and design services. After five years of development, CLIX CEO, David Asarnow and the Board of Directors opened the first CLIX franchise in Rochester, NY and currently operate seven stores in the Northeast. With the appointment of Lovejoy, the company anticipates 30 others to open across the country by 2006.

Lovejoy was formerly director of franchise development for Huntington Learning Centers. There, he played an integral role in building the business into one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s fastest growing franchises, moving the company more than 100 positions up the list in a three-year period. He brings nearly 10 years of business development experience to his new position with CLIX. Lovejoy received his bachelors degree in sociology and communications from West Virginia University.
