Tattoo Learning Center Expands to the West Coast
The Tattoo Learning Center, a tattoo school based in NY has opened a new facility in San Diego, California making them the only tattoo school in the U.S. with more than one location.
San Diego, CA, April 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Tattoo Learning Center tattoo school, based in NY, has recently opened a tattoo training facility in San Diego, California.
The Tattoo Learning Center tattoo school is the only tattoo school in the US to have more than one location.
Currently, there are less than one dozen recognized tattoo trade schools across the country.
Lisa Fasulo and Jeff Looman began the school in 2003 to meet the ever increasing demand for tattoo instruction.
“We are based in upstate NY, but our new location hopes to service those on the west coast that found NY climates just too challenging” says Fasulo, Director of Education.
The new facility opened it’s doors in San Diego in January, 2010.
“We are extremely excited about this location because San Diego is an amazing city with so much to offer, not to mention fantastic weather” says co-owner Jeff Looman.
The Tattoo Learning Center offers a 2-week intensive “hands-on” approach to tattooing.
A variety of subjects are covered from color theory to pricing and marketing.
“We touch upon just about everything from safety and sterilization to how to set up a working shop. You’d be amazed at all we can cover in our course” said Lisa Fasulo.
The faculty is hand-picked from former students that have graduated from The Tattoo Learning Center and gone on to become respected artists in the field.
“Our teachers represent who we are” says Fasulo. “We feel only former students are able to fully understand and perpetuate our philosophy of nurturing, knowledge and inspiration. We treat our students like family and are proud to offer them our information and support.”
