SW Missouri's First FAA-Approved Flight Training Device
Springfield, MO, April 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Springfield Flight Simulator is announcing the arrival of a Redbird FMX Flight Simulator. The FMX to be installed in Springfield will be one of only 65 such devices in the world. This aviation simulator is designed to provide a full-motion, realistic flight experience for aviation students, pilots and hard-core gamers. The FMX can be used for student pilot training, recurrent pilot training and just for fun.

In an era of increased scrutiny on aviation and aviation training, the FAA has broadened the approved use of simulator type devices. This increased emphasis has expanded the technological developments in the industry and made simulators very realistic. This technology has also carried over into the online gaming world and produced numerous online aviation communities with virtual pilots and virtual airports.

The FMX simulator will be delivered and installed beginning on Monday, April 12th. Following the two-day installation process, Springfield Flight Simulator will open the FMX to free public use during its Open House event. Details about the Open House are available on their website.
