Encryptomatic® LLC announced the release of MessageExport™ for Microsoft® Outlook®, version 1.5. MessageExport expands the ability of Outlook to export email messages and file attachments in a variety of formats, with a wide range of options for naming, copying and handling the messages.

Moorhead, MN, April 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Encryptomatic® LLC announced today the release of MessageExport™ for Microsoft® Outlook®, version 1.5. MessageExport expands the ability of Outlook to export email messages and file attachments in a variety of formats, with a wide range of options for naming, copying and handling the messages.

Version 1.5 of MessageExport provides users with useful options when exporting to Outlook email messages into PDF portable document format, which is increasingly used as a neutral email archiving format. MessageExport provides users with three selectable modes for converting email to PDF format:
1. Embed email attachments as a distinct file within the PDF document, with email message converted to PDF image.
2. Convert email message and attached document files to PDF image, while non-convertible files are embedded within the PDF as a distinct file
3. Email message is converted to PDF, while file attachments are extracted to disk.

How does MessageExport Work?

With MessageExport, users can select any number of messages in Microsoft Outlook and then convert them to a variety of formats including .msg, .eml, .pdf, .mbox, .mht, .html, .jpg., .tif, or .gif. MessageExport can also copy messages to a folder, network location or a Sharepoint library.

To use MessageExport, Outlook users select the emails they want to export, and then select a conversion profile (such as PDF) from the quick access toolbar. MessageExport will prompt the user for a location to store the files, retrieve the content from Enteprise Vault, and then export it according the user’s preferences.

At the heart of MessageExport’s flexibility are export profiles, which users can create and customize. MessageExport users can build conversion profiles that may contain a variety of user preferences. For example a worker engaged on a project could create an export profile that specifies a Sharepoint library location where the files will be stored, a preferred message format, a specific file naming scheme, and even zip compression or password protection. MessageExport can also be configured to take specific action after export, such as invoking a batch file or application.

MesageExport can also retrieve archived emails from Symantec Enterprise Vault. It also can move emails to a Microsoft® Sharepoint® library.

MessageExport is used by large and small companies to copy, convert, backup, archive, compress and rename email messages all from within Outlook, saving users time

MessageExport is available from Encryptomatic LLC and its global resellers.
