Dynamic Hair Due Set to Roll in Easton, PA
Sought after Hair Stylists return to the Easton area. Master Stylists Laura Dickerhoff Davis and Bowie Capobianco join the team at Tangles Salon and Spa.
Easton, PA, June 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Tangles Salon of Easton is proud to announce the return of master stylists and colorists Laura Dickerhoff Davis and Bowie Capobianco to the Easton area.
“Tangles is so modern and progressive,” responded Davis of her reasoning for accepting her new position with Tangles. Davis, who brings with her a background that includes training in hair and skincare at Empire Beauty School and the Christine Valmy Institute in New York City, says she enjoys the personal connection her work enables her to have with clients.
Her love of what she does, can be traced back to childhood. “My Barbie was my first client,” says Davis, who admits to having enough bad hair days as a kid that she was determined not to have that happen to others.
“I especially like when I get to do a makeover; seeing the transition, and meeting interesting people,” says Davis.
When she is not trimming hair, Davis says, you can find her trimming her garden, playing cards, or spending time at the beach. She resides in Palmer Township with her husband, Sky, their daughter, Cassidy, their dog, Bauer and cat, Luna.
Joining Davis is Bowie Capobianco, a classically trained and licensed cosmetologist of 22 years who also says she knew she wanted to work in beauty since she was a little girl.
“I have always enjoyed doing hair, even as a child,” says Capobianco. “My aunt had her own salon and I just loved playing in her shop. So, it came naturally to me.” Along with her great reputation as a stylist, Capobianco’s background also includes extensive training in color, highlighting, waxing, perms, and straightening,
Capobianco returns to the career she loves after taking an eight-year hiatus to raise a family. She says the atmosphere at Tangles made the transition easier for her because the staff is also close, like a family.
“Our staff makes a great team,” says Capobianco. “I continue to learn everyday and that’s what’s important to me: education, training, and having a great environment to work in.”
With two children under ten years of age, Capobianco says when she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her at home in Easton with husband, John, daughter Taylor, 18, and her two sons, Nicholas, 9, and Jace, 4. “I’m always with my children; doing things that they like to do.”
