Pittsburgh, PA, September 30, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Need to know more about Deputy Dog or Huckleberry Hound? No problem at the Toonseum’s Canine Comics exhibit. Pull out your smartphone and capture the QR code provided by QR Pittsburgh. The code links smartphone users to animated segments or interview with the creator of Ren and Stimpy.

“QR Pittsburgh’s program means we can deliver a large amount of information about the art in our exhibit without signage or printing costs,” said Joe Wos, Toonseum’s executive director. “The mobile apps are a great way to enhance user experience and allow visitors to take and share part of that experience.”

In addition to providing detailed information about the art, QR Pittsburgh’s mobile applications can provide new revenue streams and increased membership asks.

The Canine Comics exhibit features over 70 pieces of original comic strip, animation, and cartoon art of the most famous dogs of all time. Spanning over 100 years of illustrated history, this family-friendly exhibit is surely the largest gathering of these characters in one doghouse.
