Detroit Lions Retired Players Charity is Now "MPAC" (Michigan Pro Athletes Charity) and Continues to Serve the Community

Detroit, MI, November 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Detroit Lions Retired Players Charity is now MPAC (Michigan Pro Athletes Charity). MPAC was created to encompass a broader spectrum of sports and to unite pro athletes (present and past), charitable organizations, and concerned members of the community. MPAC’s mission is to develop and collaborate with programs/ organizations that support youth, health, sports, education, and community.

MPAC will host a holiday wine tasting fundraiser, The Taste, A Wine Tasting Event with MPAC, on November 24, 2010 from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. at Via Nove (Ferndale, MI), tickets are $20. Included in the ticket price supporters will receive Moscato, hors d’ oeuvres, 3 red wines and 3 white wines to taste from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. with live entertainment and door prizes throughout the event. This event is supported by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA - Detroit Chapter).
