SparkBase Appoints Andrew Kraynak as Vice President of Marketing
Cleveland, OH, December 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- SparkBase (www.sparkbase.com), a leading provider of gift card and loyalty programs, today announced that Andrew Kraynak has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Marketing. Kraynak brings more than 15 years of broad marketing experience and in his new role will build and lead the marketing team, develop and drive the company’s strategic marketing plan, and broaden awareness of SparkBase as the leading national provider of gift card and loyalty programs.

"Andrew comes to SparkBase with a proven background in marketing emerging technology companies. He also brings a creative marketing approach and a strong vision that will enable us to extend our brand," said Doug Hardman, CEO of SparkBase. "His record of success will immediately help accelerate our growth and further establish SparkBase as the leader in the gift card and loyalty program market."

Kraynak joins SparkBase from Cleveland Clinic where he developed go-to-market strategies for cancer-related services and led the integration of oncology marketing across the enterprise. Prior to Cleveland Clinic, Kraynak served as the director of marketing for TMW Systems, where he drove lead generation efforts. Earlier in his career, Kraynak held several marketing positions at Agilysys and Myers Industries.

SparkBase leverages a SaaS delivery model to seamlessly release leading-edge functionality into their gift card and loyalty programs three or four times a year. This continuous innovation ensures that financial services resellers have the latest functionality available in gift card and loyalty programs to offer to their growing portfolio of merchants. “From a marketing perspective, the appeal of the SaaS model combined with the fact that SparkBase is the only gift card and loyalty program software provider in the industry that will not sell direct and undercut the merchant-ISO relationship creates a powerful offering,” said Kraynak. “I’m excited for the chance to grow the company.”
