PMI Announces Dates for May 2011 Short Course

Advanced Techniques on Pore Structure Characterization

Ithaca, NY, January 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- PMI is proud to announce the dates for the May 2011 Short Course. The Summer course will be held during the week of May 16th-20th, with classes on the 17th, 18th, & 19th. The Monday (16th) and Friday (20th) will be reserved for meeting with PMI representatives, testing customer samples, and tours. Registrations are now open for those who are interested in attending. PMI's Short Course brings together their experts in pore structure and characterization, as well as technical specialists from industries, research laboratories and universities, for three days of intensive lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. The material presented addresses the theory and application of methods for determining pore structure and distribution in a wide variety of materials.

Attendees learn the basics and catch up on the latest advances in porosity characterization techniques. Their Short Course schedule will include plenty of time for one-on-one discussions with PMI's technical staff. PMI finishes each course day with an evening of dining and sightseeing in scenic Ithaca, New York.
