Austin, TX, February 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Austin based contemporary furniture retailer MOTIF Modern Living® has enhanced its e-commerce web site, www.MotifFurniture.com, with several innovative new features, including product videos and special order options.

MotifFurniture.com is widely known for its easy-to-use customer interface. In 2007, the site was nominated for a Webby Award in the category of Best Visual Design & Function, and since then the site has undergone continual improvement.

The most recent enhancements include:

The addition of product videos on selected items. These videos help to explain the functions and features of furniture that might not be visible at first glance. One example is the Sequel modular desk system from American manufacturer BDI: http://www.motiffurniture.com/Sequel-L-Desk-Set. There is also an animation of the unique function of the Jane-Bi-Sectional from Toronto-based Gus* Design Group: http://www.motiffurniture.com/Jane-Bi-Sectional.

The addition of special order options on selected items. MotifFurniture.com is one of the few e-commerce sites that facilitate special orders of upholstery. Sectionals, sofas, loveseats and chairs from the Canadian company Palliser now include: 1) a PDF showing the available configurations and pricing, 2) a link to the available fabric options, 3) a link to the available leather options, and 4) a link to the warranty information. MOTIF® is also in the process of creating a Spanish language e-commerce site. Virtually a mirror image of MOTIF’s English site, the Spanish version can be previewed by clicking on “Espanol” in the upper right corner of their home page, http://www.motiffurniture.com.
