The 2nd Annual Marcus Stroud Celebrity Golf Tournament Set for April 15-16, 2007 at Queens Harbour Yacht and Country Club

PR.com)-- Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl Defensive End Marcus Stroud will host his 2nd Annual Marcus Stroud Celebrity Golf Tournament on April 16, 2007 at the Queens Harbour Yacht and Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Marcus Stroud Foundation.
The Marcus Stroud Foundation is dedicated to supporting children who face significant physical, mental and financial challenges in single parent homes. The goal of the foundation is to help enhance and enrich the lives of disadvantaged, low income youth by enhancing academic programs, athletic programs, and special events highlighting student achievements that are hosted by the foundation.
This year’s kick off event, to be held on April 15, 2007, will be a private Welcome Reception for all participants in the tournament. The cost is $125 per person which includes the golf tournament entry fee and welcome reception. Marcus will be joined by fellow teammates John Henderson, Paul Spicer, Deon Grant, Marcellus Wiley, Quinn Gray, David Garrard and Mike Peterson of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Verron Haynes of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Takeo Spikes and Kiwaukee Thomas of the Buffalo Bills, Laveranues Coles of the New York Jets, Vonnie Holiday of the Miami Dolphins and a host of other invited celebrity guests.
