Epic Motion Editors Contest Gives Local Editors Opportunity to Showcase Talents and Win Prizes

Royal Oak, MI, March 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Epic Motion is hosting a competition for video editors at their studio in Royal Oak on April 9, 2011 at 10:00AM to create a 3-5 minute “Same Day Edit” using professionally shot wedding footage.

The contest is limited to 12 editors. Contestants will be given 5-6 hours of original wedding footage and will have approximately 6-8 hours to create a 3-5 minute video. The contestants must edit on their own machines and can only use Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere (Macs only). After completion, the contestants and Epic Motion staff members will vote on the best video, and the winner will be determined by popular vote. The entry fee is $79.00 and includes lunch, a t-shirt, and an in-depth critique of the finished video by Epic Motion staff.

This contest is a great opportunity for experienced editors interested in the wedding and event world to create a film that is cinematic, engaging and story driven. Second place will win a copy of Magic Bullet Looks.
