Los Angeles, CA, June 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Following the successful launch in May 2011, LAB ART Los Angeles, the nation's largest art gallery dedicated to street art, will proudly showcase the "Miss Danger on the Loose" exhibition, which deservedly shines a spotlight on female artists in the street art scene.

"Miss Danger on the Loose" is on view from July 14th through August 18th, 2011 at LAB ART Los Angeles, a 6,500 square feet gallery located in the mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles. The exhibition brings together a collection of a broad range of styles from some of the most dynamic up-and-coming female street artists including: K H No. 7, Sara Incognito, Clio, Random Act, Adventurs, Lydia Emily, E, Kym CBS, Lori McMichael, Gretta Kuresi and Jules Muck.

"Miss Danger on the Loose" presents approximately 50 paintings, photographs and installation pieces, showcasing the full range of the female street artists’ extraordinary creativity. The exhibition is curated by artist K H No. 7, notorious for her signature spark plug designs, along with LAB ART co-owners, brother and sister duo, Iskander Lemseffer and Rachel Joelson. "Miss Danger on the Loose" will be exhibited in the main front room; the gallery's two back rooms will feature new works from over 30 LAB ART street artists including: Alec Monopoly, Thank-You X, Mar, Gregory Siff, Cyrcle and Dog Byte.

LAB ART Los Angeles co-founder Rachel Joelson adds," "Miss Danger on the Loose" is the first exhibition of its kind to emphasize the importance of women in the street art scene. We wanted to create a snapshot of women emerging in street art, and thus we wanted to bring these women together in celebration of their art."

As a celebration of aesthetics in art, fashion and beauty,"Miss Danger on the Loose" is proudly sponsored by Makeup Forever, Siwy Denim and Cake Monkey. Highlights include a Makeup Forever lipstick art piece, which will feature "kisses" from female guests and artists in attendance at the private invite-only party on July 14th, 2011. Other highlights include live in-gallery painting by artist Random Act, who will paint on stretched denim canvases provided by Siwy Denim, as well as delectable dessert treats from Cake Monkey.

The "Miss Danger on the Loose" exhibition is open for public viewing beginning July 15th, 2011 through August 18th, 2011.
